Project Description

Solid Ash Mornington Shaker

Mr and Mrs Clarridge of Mansfield (2017) installer: Jamie Batty  Designer : Anna Sharpe

The spec was to create a light and fresh practical kitchen across 3 areas, we have successfully achieved that by turning an old dark room into a light and airy pantry stocked with shelving, a dresser unit, baskets and accessories for ease of storage and access. It also contains an integrated larder and fridge-freezer . We created usable space in the utility for coats and shoes, making what we could out of this dead space. Both these areas work brilliantly with the main kitchen and the oak worktops are echoed throughout including window sills and duck egg blue splash backs.

Our clients chose the Solid Ash Mornington Shaker doors  from our Second Nature paint to order range. With a huge choice of colour available, they decided upon a fresh and trendy 2 tone colour scheme combining Chalk and China Blue. The Beautifully oiled worktops give that traditional feel to a modern colour scheme, showcasing the Belfast sink wonderfully with bespoke drainer grooves.

Our Fitter Jamie has done a brilliant job crafting the shelving in the pantry using off cuts as supports and our clients were delighted with the finished kitchen.
