Worktops are probably the most used item within a kitchen, it is therefore imperative that you not only choose one which compliments your choice of kitchen, but also will serve you well during the test of time. We therefore only recommend the very best suppliers for each of the work surface types available.

The vast majority of all of our kitchens that we supply (and install) still include laminate worktops, mainly as they are the most cost effective. However, solid surfaces the likes of which are timbers (various types), Corian, natural granite (including Sensa from Cosentino) and composite stone (Silestone) to name a few, are becoming more popular on a day-to-day basis as they are becoming more wide available and therefore reduced in price.

There are three main types of work surface which are, Timber, Granite, Quartz (Silestone) and Laminate.
