New Kitchen – Remo in Gloss Cashmere

The photographs of this new kitchen for a family in Mansfield have just arrived at our offices and the client was more than happy to let us share them on our website for other people to see their lovely new kitchen.
The brief was to design a modern sleek kitchen that provided more work surface space than their previous kitchen, maximised storage space that was easy to access and to provide seating for the family to come together in the kitchen to eat, share a coffee and relax.
Being a busy family, choosing the right appliances that made life easier was also key to the design. We suggested a boiling water tap which is not only much quicker than boiling a kettle but saves on electricity too. Other appliances such as the double ovens are super high quality from Bosch. The hob is an easy to clean induction hob with an efficient extractor above.
The kitchen door design is Remo in Gloss Cashmere which fitted the brief of providing a modern clean design. The worksurfaces are Silestone in classic white that reflect light around the room providing a light and bright space in which to cook and eat. Extra storage was made by using a pull out larder cupboard, this gives a practical storage space that is easy to access.
The island unit provides much-needed extra preparation space and houses the CDA under-mounted sink and boiling water tap. The island unit also has a pop-up block of power points that are neatly hidden when not required. Seating for four people is fitted to the side of the island unit providing a sociable space for the family to share.
This busy family have found that their new kitchen is a pleasure to cook and eat in and is now a space the whole family can come together to eat and relax.
